Tuesday!

So, here am I. Waiting for that lightbulb to appears on the top of my head, like they show on cartoons! Or for Iwan Rheon to show up on my local Asda. You know, one or another.

You know you can... just show up already, my lord!

So first, I encounter this and this. I was surprised, but I couldn't guess what'll happen next!

I'm too lazy to turn the pic around, but there was this marvel...

So basically, I am in CrumpetLand. Glorious!

J'ai commencé la journée avec un thé fort (et une omelette aussi!) Hier, nous sommes sorties au Fez, un bar, et nous sommes rentrées tard. Une dose forte de caféine s'imposait!

Nous (Maude, mon amie du bac en littératures, Flora, une collègue française de Maude, et moi) sommes allées dans un centre commercial attenant à une cour intérieure (!) qui donne sur des cafés, d'autres boutiques, des pharmacies immenses, un "Poundland" (yeah, comme au Dollorama!), des amuseurs de rues.... J'ai fait quelques achats au Primark, quelque chose qui ressemble au Stitches peut-être, mais sur 3 étages, et au Superdrug, une pharmacie aussi intense!

La route pour se rendre de la maison des employés de Paypal au centre-ville. Environ 25 minutes à pied. J'ai vraiment hâte de faire du vélo ici!

Après la magasinage, un peu de ravitaillement: voici un Half English breakfast (oui, juste la moitié...) Beans en sauce tomate, bacon (back bacon), patate brune, saucisse, champignons sautés, oeuf, rôtie. Et un café ouiii!

J'aime bien ce style de haie verte! 

En l'espace de quelques secondes, entre deux photos, le ciel s'est couvert. Je suis rentrée chez moi faire du Pilates et essayer mon nouveau gel-douche Framboise et Cacao :-)

Et ce soir, avec d'autres collègues de Maude, des gens de partout dans le monde qui traduisent et travaillent pour Paypal ici à Cambridge, nous allons faire un barbecue tranquille, et demain, retour à Northampton! Et vous, qu'est-ce que vous allez faire de votre fin de semaine?

I'm now in England since a whole (more or less) 48 hours!

This is the country which I visited four years ago, and which I fell in love with. 

In fact, I'm polyamorous, as I also fell in love with Scotland and Ireland (and Torchwood hints me for Wales too) (And I'm not even talking of Iwan Rheon yet!).

I'd already decided, at that point, to come back later for a longer time: to work there, to add something to my resume, and to live for real in that country, to not just be a visitor, but a real (even if not for forever) brit citizen. Annnnd... to marry a lord, maybe.

So I took a working visa, bought a plane ticket, and translate my resume.

I was, and I still am, so excited! 

And yes, hyper as I am,  I'm already traveling. 

I arrived two days before THORsday in Northampton (and England), I left the day after, on WHEDONsday, for Cambridge with my flatmate/friend from Quebec. 

Since yesterday, I've been to the pub for a Beer Festival (but sticked to the gin and diet tonic, you can't change me!), I've been running, I ate by a river (some british roast chicken, ahah), I've been looking for jobs and writing this. And I walked a lot. 

I took some pictures. For the last few days, I couldn't believe that I'll be living in the UK for so many months. 

I still couldn't.

Cambridge est une ville très mignonne: pour courir, c'est parfait, il y a environ 6 mètres de dénivellation

P.S. (Pour le fonne, je vais essayer d'écrire à la fois en anglais et en français. Pour le fonne! Pour me corriger, c'est en MP, s'il-vous-plaît!)
